The Bike

What the bike looked like before I tore it down to the frame.

So, yeah, this rig is a trail bike. Hmmm…but it’s also a light-enduro. It’s a 160/150 shredder that takes on Greens to Double Blacks and as much punishment as you can wish to throw at it. It has higher-end components coming in at the Pro level build.

Why did I get this particular bike? Well, I wanted something that could take some harsh drops and my previous 140/130 travel bike was not cutting it. Plus this rig has a slacker head tube angle which gives me more confidence when bombing downhill. I could see myself riding a 170/170 enduro, but I worry about losing a bit more playfulness. I already lost some going up to this level.
